 Hi all! This is Jasmine07 aka Paige. I have a stupid computer and my password won't work right, so I changed my nickname altogether. From now on I'm Jasmine09 or just Jas09. Ok, this was a post on the Mozenrath message boards but I decided to bring it here. -What was the first Aladdin episode you saw? -My answer: It was a few months ago I believe. It was a Moze one. "Two to Tangle" I believe. Stupid me turned the tv on right when Al and Moze were about to change bodies. So I was COMPLETELY and HOPELESSY lost. I didn't know what was going on, nor who Mozenrath was. The only characters I knew were from the movie. I really liked the show and I'm still watching it. So, tell me your story ok? Thanks again!

From what I can remember a few years back, I think the first one I saw was 'Some Enchanted Genie'. I remember freaking out because there was female Genie. Then I lost the Tv show for a few years and then found it again on Toon Disney. That time it was 'Strike up the sand'. Lost the show again when I moved and then saw 'Genie hunt' and the rest. I have been recording them and only need about 6 more. I've seen them all except the two double eps. I wonder if they will ever show them....

I'm a really *old* oldbie, so the first one I saw was "The Prophet Motive" back when it was on Saturday mornings. ;D The last one I saw for the first time was "The Ethereal", which I kept missing.  So you're at the pub, Jas09? Are you registered there? I'm Calluna. |

Heather, yes I'm on the pub just not registered. Ok, did that make sence??? Oh well! It's really cool over there (at the pub) I've just recently became a Mozey fan. Can't get enough of him! :huggles her Mozey: Wait, why are you running Moz?? Come back!!!!! I might register at the pub though. I've seen you around there! Hope to see more!! |

The first episode I saw came on back in 1994 it was the very first episode that came on on syndiaction called "Air Feathered Friends". I remember it so well. That one also happens to be one of my favorites. Though I remember seeing one before it on the Disney channel . I don't remember the title but it was when Jasmine bought her father this toy insect in the marketplace. Didn't they make a few episodes for the Disney channel before putting it on syndication?

I saw Air Feather Friends first as well. I didn't have the disney chanel when it was on there, so my first chance to watch was the first day it was on the Disney Afternoon. I have a mish mash of old videos from when I would tape it on the days I wouldn't be home.. they're old and faded now, but I pull them out every once and a while to see the eps I do have again.

The very first Aladdin episode I saw was Mudder's Day. I remember when I saw the preview's for the Aladdin series and I was so excited. ;D I remember I would get up early every Saturday morning to watch it. I was so hooked. Heck, I still am! I really wish I had Toon Disney.  I know a lot of people who have it but I would feel bad making them tape the episodes for me. lol. Hopefully I'll get it sometime. My favorite episodes are Web of Fear, Seems Like Old Crimes I and II, The Lost Ones, Smells Like Trouble, and a whole bunch of others. I pretty much like all of them. Aladdin rocks! |

Hmm... I don't know. I'll just say it was "The Lost Ones", as that is the only episode I remember from the break between watching it on Disney Channel right after it debuted on there to watching it on Toon Disney now. I never forgot Amal... ;D

Speaking of episodes, wasn't there originally more than 86 episodes? I read somewhere that Scott Weinger voiced Aladdin for 107 episodes. Also, I remember seeing an episode that I never saw again on Disney's Afternoon or Disney Channel. I did hear that a few episodes were taken off the air or something because they were seen as having a "darker feel" to them. And I did mention earlier that episode my cousin saw with Aladdin sleepwalking in his underwear on the balcony. Anyone know about all this?

Was it this interview you were thinking of? He says that they did "over 100" episodes, but the number 107 sounds familiar to me, too... If there are any episodes they're not showing on Toon Disney, I haven't heard about it (and not having the channel, I can't check for myself). It wouldn't surprise me if some of them were edited, but I don't know anything about that either. You're probably thinking of the episode of Gargoyles ("Deadly Force") which Toon Disney doesn't show. I don't know if I said this before, but I think your cousin's thinking of the episode "As the Netherworld Turns" where Sultan sleepwalks and Aladdin is in his underwear in a dream. I don't think anyone was on the balcony, though. What was in the episode you remember from a long time ago but didn't see again? Maybe you just keep missing it? |

I'm not sure. I'm thinking that my cousin was making it all up.  She told me a long time ago anyways. I was crackin up. That would be so funny. Al sleepwalking in his undies. lol. I do remember "As the Netherworld Turns" however. That was a good episode. But I'm not sure, I can probably ask her again. She was also saying he was shaking his butt and singing "everybody shake your booty." ;D That DEFINATELY had to be made up. That would have been a hilarious episode though. I don't remember much of that episode I saw a long time adn never saw it again though. I just remember it was on Saturday Morning and Aladdin and Jasmine were near the balcony sitting on lounge chairs drinking juice or something. I did see all 86 episodes and don't recall seeing that scene.  Does anyone recall that, cause I remember seeing it. |

I don't remember that scene off the top of my head, but, then, I haven't watched my tapes in awhile... YEah, I think your cousin just made the whole thing up. My sister once told me there was a site devoted to Akbar and I believed her...  |

Well, all 86 of the episodes that are listed are shown on Toon Disney (I'm taping them all- the only one I'm waiting for it Armored and Dangerous, which I know they show). But the number 107 sounds familar to me too... and I haven't noticed any editing, at least in the ones I already had on tape before Toon Disney.
...And I would love a site devoted to Akbar (hmm... maybe I'll get right on that. After, of course, I do my "Amin Abahdway appreciation site ;D)
