I think that Esmeralda is one of the most over looked heroines. She`s my favorite next to Jasmine of course. :)She`s a mature young woman rather than a teenager. When it comes to being street smart her skills match Aladdin.Esmeralda is worldly wise and resourceful. :)She`s a beautiful character, but she doesn`t get much attention.I like her alot.Esmeralda always speaks her mind.

I think Meg gets overlooked a bit as well.

Esmeralda, doubtlessly. She's right behind Belle as favorite heroine ever, and HoND/BatB are in direct competition for my favorite Disney film ever, not that it means anything.
I'm going to add in Chicha from "The Emperor's New Groove" to this as well, despite her limited part. Charming, funny, and history-making. Fantastic character.

After coming back from Disneyworld, I'd say Esmerelda, Meg, Mulan, Jane and Pocahontas are overlooked. I saw barely any merchandise for any of them (the only things I did see was a Mulan doll and porcelain doll). All the others I saw once in a parade except Pocahontas and Esmerelda. I saw Pocahontas at a show and I didn't see Esmerelda at all. I only saw Jasmine twice as well. Everyone else was everywhere to be seen.

Oh, how I wish I could go to Disney World. But no, the stupid Genie has to go first. Argh. ;D

lol, Disneyland IS in California ;D Disneyworld is in Florida. I want to go to the California one myself because of that fabulous Aladdin show I hear Kirsten talk ever so much about. And yes Sammy, being nearly phenominal, semi-cosmic is good for something. Disney World is absolutely marvelous. I took pictures with Aladdin and Jasmine, Jafar, and of course Genie. Yep, life is good. You can read about my adventures in my journal at www.ujournal.org/users/helgaababwa

*giggles* My boyfriend had never seen it... so I dragged him with me to see it yesterday. And I saw it twice the day before that. I really neeed to get a life. Disney World has some nifty Aladdin stuff, too! He has his own float in the Share a Dream Come True Parade! And the Magic Carpets of Aladdin - although honestly I'm sure they can come up wiith a better Aladdin ride than that. And Genie has a unit in the SpectroMagic Parade. Not to mention two different stores full of Aladdin stuff - one in Adventureland (my old workplace... *tear*), and one in Morrocco at Epcot. ;D -Kirsten

Spectro-Magic parade, Share A Dream Come True parade, and Stars and Motor Cars parade. Not to mention any statues or paintings they had anywhere in the stores or outside. I didn't see the store in Morrocco, though. I KNEW I should have went farther in. I saw a shop that sold authentic Morroccian items like lamps and fez's. I really wanted the hat!
