Um...Is the name Jasmine Arabic? I'm just a little curious since all of the other names Disney pick sound Arabic...

Yup, it is. ;D It's a flower name, but Jasmine (well, Yasmin, actually) is a pretty normal name there.
But the princess's name in the original book was Badr al-Budr ("full moon of full moons").

Well, I knew jasmine was the name of a flower(it's my favorite), but did Disney think Badr al-Budr was too hard to pronounce or something? I've read the original book of Aladdin and it must have been simplified because it never named the princess.
And, what the heck does "full of moon of full moons" mean?

I think comparing something to the full moon was a metaphorical way of saying it was beautiful, so I guess Badr al-Budr meant something like "the most beautiful of the beautiful". ;D But I wonder why they couldn't call her Badra or something else that's easy to pronounce and means something similar?

Most people here don't know what the name Aladdin means, but it doesn't seem to bother them.

But the princess's name in the original book was Badr al-Budr ("full moon of full moons"). I'm glad you brought up her name. How would one go about saying "Badr al-Budr"? I've discussed it with different people and each time I've heard a diffrent way to say it.

Jasmine might be my least favourites. She's a pregnant dog
. "Oh, Aladdin. It's so beautiful! Come to swim with me?"

I wouldn't go as far as that... ...she's just hormonal sometimes.

A pregnant dog? I never use that kind of word. She could wear some clothes sometimes I'd think.

I wouldn't go as far as that... ...she's just hormonal sometimes. My thoughts exactly. She's a lot more stable than most 16 year olds I know.
